Jammu and Kashmir State Open School (JKSOS)

The Jammu & Kashmir State Open School (SOS) was established in 2001 to achieve 100% literacy in the state. It provides open and distance learning (ODL) up to the senior secondary level, offering an alternative education system for those who have missed out on formal schooling. The SOS aims to provide educational opportunities to various groups, including dropouts, adults, and those with disabilities.

Jammu and Kashmir State Open School was envisaged as a comprehensive instructional release institution that offered the autonomy to students to get education without the bottleneck of attending daily classes. We have succeeded in creating a distance education program as a planned extended learning endeavour. JKSOS has gained an expertise in delivering instructional possessions and thereby providing opportunities to students located away from the organization.

For students and school, frequently asked questions will have relevant answers. Complete office address is also given in the Website. Students can check their results in the App and can download their mark sheet and certificate. This website doesn't collect or store any user personal informations. It's only to show the results to the Students of SSLC & HSSLC. It provides notices and contacts details to the students as well as to the schools. The website requires Camera access to scan the QR code on the Markssheet & Certificates for validation checking of the documents. Our Platform may provide links to JKSOS official website to fetch marks of the Students.

    The Jammu and Kashmir State Open School also proposes to open schools in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and all over India and to provide free education at secondary and senior secondary level to those belonging to disadvantaged groups (e.g. the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally disadvantaged classes and other socially, culturally, economically, geographically weaker sections of the society, etc. as specified/ notified by the appropriate Government) and people belonging to weaker sections who are unable to get secondary and senior secondary education in the normal course of life.
